A retail/outpatient pharmacy in Bridgeport, West Virginia, seeks a licensed pharmacist for a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity. Situated conveniently in the parking lot of a medical building, this role offers a chance to provide essential pharmaceutical care within a supportive community setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy, safety, and proper dosage
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and adherence
- Support daily pharmacy operations, including inventory management and dispensing
- Maintain strict compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and procedures
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active West Virginia pharmacist license in good standing
- Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy preferred
- Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities
- Commitment to a long-term, permanent pharmacy role
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time position, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
