This full-time contract opportunity (35 hours per week) welcomes qualified Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth and communication skills. If you prefer part-time work, there may be an opportunity to tailor your schedule and age group preferences.
Essential qualifications include an active NY SLP license, a NY Teaching Certificate (TSSH or TSSLD), a Medicaid/OPRA number, and an NPI number. Experience in school settings (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or equivalent) is highly valued, as is a compassionate, innovative approach to supporting children with speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy tailored to students with Autism.
- Assess, develop, and implement effective IEP-driven therapy plans.
- Maintain thorough session documentation, aligning with Medicaid requirements.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to maximize student progress.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to support inclusive and engaging learning environments.
- Contribute expertise to multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development.
