You’ll work across several sites within a close five-mile radius, offering variety and the chance to collaborate with a dynamic network of early childhood professionals. This as-needed assignment lets you tailor your approach to individual student strengths while shaping foundational skills for lifelong learning.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher licensure appropriate for early childhood or preschool-aged students
- Strong background in supporting children with cognitive delays or developmental needs
- Familiarity with designing and implementing IEPs for younger learners
- Passion for inclusive education and differentiated instruction
- Excellent communication and team collaboration capabilities
- Flexibility to work at multiple sites as required, all within a short commute
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective instructional plans based on each child’s unique needs
- Assess student growth, monitor progress, and document outcomes
- Collaborate with related services staff, general education teachers, and families to provide optimal student support
- Foster nurturing, engaging classroom environments that encourage participation and learning
- Adapt materials, activities, and assessments to meet diverse learning styles
