Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Markesan, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Full-Time
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility, Assisted Living, and Outpatient Services
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Day Shift) with one weekend rotation per month
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans that help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility programs.
- Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercise programs and safety techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to facility policies, regulatory standards, and professional ethics.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active Wisconsin PTA license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- New graduates and experienced clinicians are welcome to apply.
