A healthcare facility in Harrisburg, AR, is seeking a skilled Clinical IV Pharmacist for a 3-6 month contract-to-hire opportunity. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with every third weekend on duty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify IV medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety
- Prepare IV medications in the clean room as needed, adhering to sterile compounding standards
- Perform various clinical duties, including interpreting laboratory results to support patient care
- Provide flexible support across pharmacy functions as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an IV pharmacist with strong clinical proficiency
- Current, active pharmacist license in Arkansas
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
- Strong ability to read and interpret lab results to guide clinical decisions
- Flexibility and adaptability to assist in various pharmacy areas when necessary
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Every third weekend on call
