Job Description

Join a leading global company in the food and beverage ingredients industry, located in Mickleton, NJ. We are seeking experienced sit down forklift operators for a brand new warehouse facility. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and career advancement.

2nd. shift: 3:30pm - 12midnight - Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Operate a Reach Truck machine efficiently and safely.
• Pick orders accurately and promptly using RF scanning equipment.
• Manage pick ticket orders and ensure warehouse items are pulled accurately based on number, size, and quantity.
• Stage items correctly for delivery and ensure order accuracy.
• Read and interpret incoming order requests.
• Adhere to quality and customer service standards established by the company.
• Pick, wrap, and stage orders for shipment.
• Inspect and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Identify and address safety hazards in the workplace.
• Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience operating powered forklifts.
• Proficient in mathematics.
• Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations.
• High regard for safety in the workplace.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with various material-handling equipment.
• Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety policies and requirements.

Work Environment

Work in a newly constructed distribution warehouse in Mickleton, NJ. The facility operates Monday through Friday from 3:30pm to 12:00am. The warehouse is temperature controlled, employees should be comfortable with the distinct aroma of spices and coconut water. Appropriate attire includes steel toe boots, work pants, and a top (long or short sleeve) without graphics or writing, excluding sweatshirts, hoods, or strings.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mickleton, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
