A pharmacy in Fredericktown, OH is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide vacation coverage during specific dates throughout the year. This role requires a reliable and detail-oriented pharmacist to manage prescription processing and verification in a busy retail environment using PioneerRx software.
Location: Fredericktown, OH
Job Type: Per Diem
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Pharmacy hours 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, no lunch closure)
- Coverage needed for the following dates:
- August 10 to August 14
- September 14 to September 18
- November 25
Responsibilities:
- Complete data entry and verification for over 200 prescriptions daily
- Conduct thorough prescription and product checks
- Answer phone calls professionally and assist patients and healthcare providers
- Receive, check in, and sign for controlled and narcotic drug deliveries
- Work closely with three full-time pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
- Note: This role does not include immunizations
Qualifications:
- Active and clear Ohio Pharmacist license
- Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
- Proficient with PioneerRx software or similar pharmacy management systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high prescription volumes
