Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician specializing in retail and ambulatory pharmacy settings. The position is based in Otis, OR, with a start date as soon as possible. This role will last approximately 13 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Assist customers by providing excellent service and answering questions regarding prescriptions
- Maintain proper storage of medications and shelving according to regulations
- Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
- Support pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician or equivalent experience
- Experience working in retail pharmacy environments preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process prescriptions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management
