Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by supporting their growth and education in special education settings for the upcoming school year. Two contract opportunities are available, working full-time (37.5 hours per week) with middle school and elementary-age students in specialized educational environments designed to meet a range of needs.
At one site, you’ll work with middle schoolers in a setting 4 program designed for students with developmental cognitive delays. Here, you’ll teach and support children, some of whom use wheelchairs and others who may exhibit mild behavioral challenges. At another location, you’ll work in a setting 3 program, teaching a small caseload (6-9) of elementary students identified with autism spectrum disorder or developmental cognitive disabilities.
