Overview

We are seeking an experienced Underground Utility Inspector to oversee construction activities related to water, sewer, storm drainage, gas, and telecommunications infrastructure projects.

This role is responsible for ensuring utility installations meet engineering plans, quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in the field, communicating with contractors, documenting progress, and identifying issues before they impact project timelines.

What We're Looking For

• Experience inspecting underground utility or civil construction projects
• Knowledge of water, wastewater, stormwater, utility, or infrastructure systems
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and engineering plans
• Understanding of utility testing procedures and construction quality requirements
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Effective communication skills with contractors and project stakeholders
• Ability to work outdoors in active construction environments
