Qualifications & Ideal Experience:
- Active Special Education Teacher certification (required)
- Previous experience teaching students with disabilities in a school setting

- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Genuine commitment to inclusive education and differentiated instruction
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, adapt, and implement individualized lesson plans to meet each student’s unique learning goals
- Assess student strengths and challenges, utilizing data to tailor instructional strategies
- Develop, maintain, and monitor IEPs, supporting students’ academic and behavioral objectives
- Foster a supportive, structured environment for optimal student engagement and growth
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers, related service providers, and parents
- Proactively address challenges while celebrating successes and growth milestones
- Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings
