Located in the vibrant Hamden, CT area, this assignment begins November 1st and runs through December 22nd, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours each week.
In this role, you'll work directly with a caseload of 10-20 students, providing personalized educational strategies and targeted interventions within a supportive resource classroom environment. You’ll collaborate closely with fellow educators and support staff to ensure every student has the opportunity to achieve their unique goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Certification appropriate for elementary level
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably within a resource room
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and team members
- Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet a variety of learning needs
Responsibilities:
