Urgent opening for a Clinical IV Pharmacist to join a healthcare facility in Trumann, AR on a contract-to-hire basis for 3-6 months. This position offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with every third weekend required.
Responsibilities include verifying IV medication orders, sterile compounding of IV preparations in a clean room setting, and performing various clinical duties such as interpreting laboratory results to ensure optimal patient care. Flexibility to assist in other pharmacy areas as needed is important.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of current experience as an IV pharmacist
- Active and clear Arkansas pharmacist license
- Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screening
- Strong clinical skills, including competence in reading and interpreting lab data
- Willingness to adapt to different tasks and support the pharmacy team as required
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Every third weekend on call
