You’ll manage a manageable caseload, working collaboratively with school teams to ensure each student receives tailored support and intervention.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- Current Wisconsin licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred
- Ability to work comfortably with students aged K-12
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for a caseload typically between 38–40 students
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services onsite
- Maintain accurate records, progress monitoring, and timely reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings, working closely with families and educational staff
- Supply expert guidance and recommendations for enhancing academic success through improved communication skills
- Adapt methods and materials to each student’s unique needs and educational goals
