Make a meaningful impact working with students during the 26/27 school year as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. Put your expertise to work helping learners reach their communication goals in an educational setting near West Chester, OH. In this rewarding role, you’ll support students, families, and colleagues as an essential part of a dynamic school team.
There are two exciting opportunities available: a full-time assignment for the entire academic year, and a part-time position (0.8 FTE) covering a maternity leave from August 19 to September 30. Both roles offer the chance to build relationships, make a difference, and hone your skills in a collaborative environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license for Ohio
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes, speech/language assessments, and progress monitoring
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy and consultation services to students
- Conduct evaluations and assessments as part of eligibility and progress monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers
- Document services, maintain student records, and participate in meetings as needed
- Support students in achieving academic, emotional, and communication milestones
