This full-time position runs from August 31, 2026, to June 23, 2027, and offers the chance to build a strong, supportive relationship as a dedicated one-to-one nurse. Workdays follow a regular schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (6.5 hours per day; 35 hours a week).

In this personalized role, you’ll assist a student who relies on G-tube feedings, providing essential care on school grounds and during bus rides—ensuring your expertise supports the student’s well-being every step of the way. When the student is absent or on Wednesdays when students do not attend, you have the opportunity to extend your impact by assisting other buildings in the district.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Washington State LPN license and certification
• Fingerprinting completed with OSPI
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care strongly preferred
• Experience with G-tube feedings highly valued
• Compassionate, flexible, and able to collaborate with students, families, and educational teams
• Comfortable riding the bus and providing care during transportation

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive one-to-one care for a student requiring G-tube assistance
• Accompany and support the student on bus rides to and from school
• Communicate effectively with the student’s family and school staff
• Offer support in other school buildings as needed during student absences or district non-instructional days
