Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of a master’s or specialist-level degree in school psychology or a related field
• Current Michigan School Psychologist certification is required
• Experience conducting assessments, evaluations, and providing counseling in school settings
• Familiarity with district-wide service models and flexible caseload management
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
• Ability to adapt interventions and supports for various student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer standardized assessments and interpret results for eligibility and planning
• Provide individual and group counseling services to students
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote positive student outcomes
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings as a core member
• Support response-to-intervention (RTI) and other evidence-based school initiatives
• Maintain timely, accurate records and complete required documentation
• Travel between schools as needed to support district-wide assignments
