As an RN with experience in Stepdown and Progressive Care Units (PCU), this travel assignment provides a chance to advance your clinical skills in a dynamic hospital setting. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel contract assignment (specific hours based on facility needs)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to Stepdown and PCU patients, monitoring changes and administering treatments.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members for optimal patient outcomes.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families about care plans, procedures, and recovery expectations.
- Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in rapidly changing situations.
- Uphold patient safety and adhere to facility policies and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license, eligible for practice in North Carolina.
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a Stepdown or PCU setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred, but not required.

$1,706 - $1,866/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
