Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of one year CVOR nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Demonstrated clinical competence in cardiovascular operating room procedures
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert, patient-centered care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Scrub and circulate within the OR, assisting surgical teams with instruments, medications, and patient monitoring
- Ensure adherence to all safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols
- Support and educate patients and families throughout the surgical experience
- Actively participate in interdisciplinary communication and case management
