We are looking for a bilingual Personal Injury Attorney to join a plaintiff-focused law firm in White Plains, New York. This role is well suited for an attorney with at least two years of litigation experience who wants meaningful courtroom exposure and close mentorship from experienced trial lawyers. The attorney will support a range of personal injury matters, deliver thoughtful client guidance in English and Spanish, and contribute to case strategy from initial review through resolution.
Responsibilities:
• Handle plaintiff-side personal injury files through each stage of litigation, from initial case assessment to settlement or court proceedings.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients in both English and Spanish, keeping them informed and providing responsive, high-quality support.
• Examine medical documentation, assess claimed losses, and help develop theories of liability and damages.
• Prepare litigation materials such as complaints, motion papers, discovery requests, responses, and related court filings.
• Research legal issues and draft internal analyses to support case direction and advocacy efforts.
• Organize and conduct preparation sessions for clients and witnesses ahead of depositions, mediations, hearings, and other appearances.
• Participate in depositions, status conferences, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and similar proceedings based on case needs and experience level.
• Contribute to settlement discussions, valuation of claims, and overall litigation planning with senior attorneys.
• Maintain complete and current case records in the firm's case management platform while ensuring deadlines and documentation are properly tracked.• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the New York State Bar.
• At least 2 years of experience handling personal injury litigation matters.
• Full fluency in both English and Spanish, including written and spoken communication.
• Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings, discovery papers, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Experience appearing for depositions and court proceedings.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Effective written, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills with a strong commitment to client service.
