Job Title: ICU Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN)
Salary Range: $31.86 – $46.28/hr (Maximum range for 17+ years of experience)
Shift Differentials: +$4.50/hr (Nights) | +$1.50/hr (Weekends)
Available Shifts
Days – Rotating weekends
Nights – Rotating weekends
Sign-On Bonus
Day Shift: $15,000
Night Shift: $20,000
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable ICU Stepdown RN to provide high-quality care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent clinical assessments. This role involves independent clinical decision-making while collaborating with a supportive and highly engaged healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for stepdown patients requiring continuous monitoring
Perform ongoing patient assessments and respond appropriately to clinical changes
Manage treatment plans and interventions independently within scope of practice
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards
Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of recent Acute Care ICU Stepdown RN experience required
Candidates with 3+ years of Cardiac PCU or Multisystem PCU experience will also be considered
Active Florida RN license or approved Multistate/Compact RN license required
Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation
Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
