Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee hotel renovation and commercial construction projects across the United States. This direct-hire opportunity is ideal for a construction professional who enjoys leading active jobsites, coordinating multiple trades, and delivering high-quality renovation projects on schedule.
The Traveling Construction Superintendent will manage daily field operations, subcontractors, schedules, safety, materials, and project communication from start to finish. This role offers steady project work, covered travel expenses, professional growth opportunities, and the chance to join a team-oriented construction environment with supportive leadership and a strong focus on quality, safety, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee hotel renovation and commercial construction projects from mobilization through completion.
- Manage daily jobsite activities, subcontractors, laborers, vendors, and multiple trades.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules to ensure deadlines and milestones are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Monitor jobsite quality, resolve field issues, and coordinate solutions with project stakeholders.
- Enforce OSHA standards, jobsite safety requirements, and company quality expectations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $75,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Job Type: Direct Hire.
- Travel expenses covered.
- Health insurance.
- 1 week of PTO after 1 year.
- Discretionary bonus eligibility.
- Professional growth opportunities.
- Nationwide travel required for approximately 3 to 4 weeks at a time.
- Ability to return home for a long weekend approximately every 3 to 4 weeks.
- Long weekends home do not count against PTO.
- No per diem is provided.
