Make a difference in the lives of students by providing speech-language services for the upcoming school year. Professionals with SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY qualifications are needed on a contract basis to support schools in the Lithonia and Decatur, GA area. Full-time and part-time options are available to help manage a range of student caseloads.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential
- Experience with pediatric or school-based populations
- Skilled in conducting therapy sessions, evaluations, and assessments
- Competence with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Working knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
- Collaborative mindset for partnering with diverse multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to students in individual or group settings
- Complete assessments and participate in IEP meetings to support student goals
- Coordinate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress tracking for each student
- Contribute to a supportive and positive educational environment
- Adapt services as needed for both in-person and remote (teletherapy) delivery
