Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Current Minnesota PELSB Special Education License, or eligibility for licensure through reciprocity
• Proven skill developing, implementing, and managing IEPs
• Familiarity with IDEA, Minnesota special education regulations, and compliance standards
• Commitment to collaboration and strong communication with staff and families
• Specialized experience highly valued in:
  • Special Education assessments
  • Therapeutic environments (Setting III/IV, EBD)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) center-based classrooms
  • Behavior intervention strategies, FBAs, BIPs, and trauma-informed practices

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, participate in eligibility meetings and prepare detailed evaluation reports
• Develop and deliver specially designed instruction tailored to individual student needs
• Implement individualized behavioral supports and utilize structured teaching strategies
• Progress monitor and maintain accurate documentation
• Actively participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings
• Foster inclusive, supportive learning environments
• Adhere to all federal and state special education laws and district policies
