Required Qualifications:

• Active Missouri Substitute Certificate or ParaPro Exam documentation with transcripts (check credential status on the DESE website)
• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in a school setting strongly preferred
• Ability to work flexibly across different schools and age groups as needed
• Willingness to assist with toileting and student care routines
• Understanding of positive behavioral support strategies
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide academic and behavioral support to individual students or small groups
• Assist students with activities of daily living, including toileting and changing as needed
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to deliver inclusive education
• Support classroom organization and instructional activities
• Contribute to a positive, safe, and inclusive school environment

With contract assignments beginning August 25 and lasting through May 28, you’ll work consistent school-based hours. Schedules vary by grade level, ensuring a clear and predictable work routine.
