Job Description:
The Straddle Carrier Operator is responsible for safely operating a straddle carrier to move, stack, load, and unload containers, battery racks, pallets, and other materials within the warehouse, yard, or manufacturing facility. The operator must follow all safety procedures while maintaining productivity and operational efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Safely and efficiently operate a straddle carrier to transport materials throughout the facility.
-Load, unload, and move containers and oversized materials between production, storage, and shipping areas.
-Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and report defects, maintenance needs, or safety concerns.
-Maintain accurate records of material movements and equipment inspections.
-Communicate effectively with spotters and team members to ensure safe operations.
-Follow all OSHA, company, customer, and site-specific safety requirements, including proper PPE use.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job Requirements:
-Previous experience operating heavy equipment, forklifts, terminal tractors, cranes, or straddle carriers preferred.
-Ability to obtain and maintain company-approved Straddle Carrier Operator certification. --Basic knowledge of warehouse, logistics, yard, or manufacturing operations.
-Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
-Strong attention to safety, detail, and operational accuracy.
-Ability to sit, stand, climb, and operate equipment for extended periods.
-Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
-Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
-Experience in battery manufacturing, logistics, container yard operations, or LG Energy Solution environments preferred.
-Bilingual English/Korean or English/Spanish skills are a plus.
