Key Qualifications:
- Active TX Speech Language Pathologist License required
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations, preferably within school environments
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to elementary students, following individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and monitor students’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs
- Develop tailored intervention strategies that support each child's academic and social success
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Partner with educators and families to support students’ goals and provide resources for ongoing progress
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and related team collaborations
