Location: Asheville
Shift: 1st Shift (6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour
Length of Assignment:  5-6 months

About the Opportunity:

What You’ll Do:

• Support quality and excellence by pre-inspecting fabricated parts and expertly loading/unloading them onto our state-of-the-art conveyor paint line.
• Deliver painted parts to internal assembly lines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency every step of the way.
• Follow clear, written work instructions and maintain detailed documentation, contributing to our commitment to organizational and regulatory standards.
• Confirm each part is hung in the proper color order, as well as verifying the correct part number, quantity, color, and destination.
• Visually inspect finished items for defects, impeccable coverage, and touch up any minor flaws, ensuring only top-quality products reach our customers.
• Use protective supplies to safeguard parts from damage, deliver finished goods, or store them with care.
• Embrace cross-training and willingly support other team members and operations. Flexibility and teamwork are key!
• Always prioritize safety and quality by following best practices, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to ISO guidelines.
• Take initiative by engaging in continuous improvement activities and supporting team goals.

• Mentor and train new team members, sharing your knowledge and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
• Utilize computer systems for email, training, and performance management when needed.

What You Bring:

• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required—we are eager to train motivated individuals!
• General knowledge of spray finish tools and processes is helpful, but we value your willingness to learn above all.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Comfort with standing, bending, and handling larger parts throughout your shift. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Basic computer skills or an openness to learning new technology.
• Ability to read and interpret part numbers, labels, and work instructions with attention to detail.
