Make a meaningful impact as a contract Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting elementary students in a school-based setting near Old Town, FL. This onsite opportunity allows you to build valuable pediatric experience while collaborating with dedicated educators and helping students achieve their communication goals.
Your expertise in pediatric SLP and school-based services will be key as you assess students, develop individualized therapy plans, and deliver high-quality interventions that foster success in the classroom and beyond. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, offering you the flexibility to find the right balance for your lifestyle.
What’s Needed:
- Active TX Speech Language Pathologist License
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric SLP and school environments
- Commitment to providing evidence-based, student-centered therapy
- Ability to collaborate well with teachers, parents, and other support staff
- Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to assess speech, language, voice, and fluency skills
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy goals for K-5 students
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multi-disciplinary team discussions
- Consult with educators and families to support student growth and generalization of skills
