The Maintenance Technician II maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs a wide range of production machinery and facility equipment, including thermo-forming equipment, pumps, motors, and AC/DC systems. This role works closely with machine operators to quickly diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation of equipment across the facility.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair thermo-forming equipment, pumps, motors, and AC/DC systems throughout the facility.
• Work closely with machine operators to identify equipment issues and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Perform mechanical repairs on production and support equipment to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including electrical troubleshooting on various systems and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate and efficient repairs.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform maintenance and repair tasks.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to reduce unexpected breakdowns and extend equipment life.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, and related components.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic systems, including air lines, cylinders, and controls.
• Assist with PLC troubleshooting to identify and resolve control-related issues on automated equipment.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage as required by facility procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to support continuous improvement in equipment reliability and performance.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Hands-on experience repairing thermo-forming equipment, pumps, motors, and AC/DC systems.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills across a variety of industrial equipment and systems.
• Proficiency in mechanical repair of production machinery and facility equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and components, including troubleshooting and repair.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems and components, including troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in a maintenance environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with machine operators and other team members to resolve equipment issues.
• PLC troubleshooting experience to support diagnosis of control system problems.
• Strong willingness to learn and grow within the maintenance field.

• Relevant technical schooling or education in maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or industrial technology.
• Experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or molding environment.
• Comfort working with both older and newer equipment and adapting to different technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when troubleshooting complex issues.
• Good communication skills to clearly explain issues and solutions to operators and team members.

This role is based in a clean, well-lit molding facility with a mix of older and newer equipment. The position operates on structured shifts: first shift runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with overtime as needed; second shift runs Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with overtime and a shift premium; third shift runs from Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with overtime and a higher shift premium. The environment involves hands-on work with industrial machinery, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics, using standard hand and power tools while following established safety practices.

This is a Permanent position based out of Germantown, WI.
