Ideal candidates possess:
- An active state license or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or actively working toward it
- Schools-based SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds considered
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct and consultative speech, language, and communication therapy to students
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintaining up-to-date, compliant assessment and session documentation
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student success
- Attending IEP meetings and contributing expertise to multidisciplinary teams
