Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Louisiana SLP state license (or eligibility to obtain)
- SLP-CCC or current CFY status, with mentorship available
- Experience with pediatric and school-aged populations (K-3 preferred)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Passion for supporting children with diverse speech, language, and communication needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy for K-3 students
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with teachers and staff
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, parent conferences, and IEP planning
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation in keeping with school and state requirements
