Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans, delivering evidence-based therapy, maintaining detailed case records, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Desired background and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Virginia SLP License (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience with K-12 populations preferred
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to manage a 40-hour, 5-day work week schedule on site or in a hybrid model
Key responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret speech/language assessments
- Develop and implement effective therapy plans for diverse caseloads
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and student support teams
- Document daily therapy sessions and progress notes
- Provide consultation to teachers and parents
