We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Portfolio Assistant/Principle in Training in a contract-to-permanent position. This opportunity is designed for someone who is ready to build a strong foundation in the company’s products, services, and compliance standards while learning alongside experienced principals. In this role, you will gain hands-on exposure to transaction review activities and develop the knowledge needed to grow into a principal-level position after successfully completing required licensing exams.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in structured training to build knowledge of the organization’s offerings, operational practices, and regulatory expectations
• Support senior principals with the review of transactions to help ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established guidelines
• Assist with day-to-day portfolio and administrative activities while developing familiarity with internal workflows and service standards
• Monitor transaction-related information carefully and escalate questions or exceptions to experienced team members when needed
• Maintain organized records and documentation to support compliance and operational consistency
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients while delivering responsive service and follow-through
• Track progress toward required examinations and apply newly gained knowledge to increasing levels of responsibility
• Assume broader principal-level ownership of assigned duties after meeting licensing and qualification requirements• Experience supporting customer service, call center, or operations-focused environments
• Understanding of call center metrics and the ability to work in a performance-driven setting
• Familiarity with call center operations and customer support best practices
• Knowledge of compliance-focused processes and careful attention to detail when handling transactions
• Exposure to AMSI and the ability to learn firm-specific systems and procedures quickly
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project Server or similar tools used for tracking work and priorities
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under guidance while developing professionally
