About the Role

As a Fire Alarm Technician, you’ll install, maintain, inspect, and repair fire alarm systems across a variety of commercial locations. Your work will help ensure systems are reliable, code-compliant, and performing as designed to protect people and property.

What You’ll Do

• Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance

• Diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently

• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local fire codes

What You Bring

Required:

• Proven experience installing and servicing fire alarm systems

• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and fire safety codes

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between job sites

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication and time management abilities

Preferred:

• NICET certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Experience with multiple fire alarm system manufacturers

• Background in commercial or institutional projects (e.g., hotels, universities)

Pay Details: $21.00 to $29.00 per hour
