A contract opportunity is available for Emotional Behavior Disorder (EBD) Center-based Special Education Teachers to support K-5 students in a specialty school focused on mathematics, science, and children’s engineering. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team in a hands-on, engaging educational setting where students explore through Project Lead the Way Launch.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota Teaching Certification—Tier 3 or Tier 4 required (please ensure this is attached alongside your resume for consideration)
• Experience supporting students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, ideally in a center-based or resource setting
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a safe, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment
• Comfortable collaborating with instructional teams and support staff
• Enthusiastic about implementing creative, project-based curriculum with young learners

Role Highlights:

• Full-time, onsite contract position beginning in September and running through early June, aligning with the school calendar
• Manage an EBD caseload while developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and providing specialized instruction
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and communicate with families and support personnel
• Engage students with hands-on STEM content, helping them develop academic, behavioral, and social skills
