Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Current certification in Wilson or Orton-Gillingham methodologies (required)
• Previous experience with middle school students preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement specialized instruction using Wilson or Orton-Gillingham approaches tailored to students’ learning needs
• Develop and adapt IEPs in partnership with families and support staff
• Monitor and assess student academic and social-emotional progress
• Manage classroom routines to encourage positive behaviors and a supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support personnel, and administration to facilitate inclusive practices
• Maintain accurate records and consistent communication with families regarding student growth
