Key Requirements:

• Current certification as a Special Education Teacher (SPED)
• Experience or interest in working with homebound students, especially those in 3rd grade Life Skills
• Commitment to onsite-only assignments
• Ability to begin as soon as possible and commit through the end of the summer (exact ESY end TBD) and/or for the 2026–2027 school year
• Strong communication, organization, and adaptability in diverse environments

Role at a Glance:

• Deliver 4 hours per week of instructional homebound services plus 2 hours of compensatory education weekly, beginning August 17th
• Manage and motivate a caseload consisting of a 3rd grade homebound, Life Skills student
• Develop, implement, and update specialized education plans tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with district and family partners to ensure student achievement and compliance with IEP/504 regulations
