Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) for practicing as an SLP in Washington
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly valued
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills for collaboration with educators, students, and families
- Commitment to culturally responsive practices and inclusive support for diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across a range of ages and needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), regularly tracking progress and making adjustments
- Conduct assessments, document findings, and provide clear recommendations
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, counselors, and special education staff to integrate support in classroom environments
- Engage families in the intervention process through regular updates and resource sharing
- Maintain compliance with all state, district, and federal documentation requirements
