Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLPA license required
- Prior experience supporting speech-language services in a school setting preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other school professionals
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and goal tracking a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy activities and programs developed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Provide direct support to students under the supervision of certified SLP staff
- Assist in documenting student progress and maintaining records
- Help administer screenings and assessments as directed
- Collaborate with teaching staff and families to optimize student outcomes
- Prepare and organize therapy materials and resources
