This full-time, onsite position begins August 12, 2026, and is set to run through November 4, 2026, with the potential for extension. Serve an elementary caseload and become a valued resource for students, families, and staff as you help foster positive development and resilience.

What we’re seeking:

• Valid Illinois School Social Worker (SSW) license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Previous experience as a school social worker supporting elementary-aged students
• Strong understanding of social-emotional learning principles and effective interventions for K-5th grade youth
• Ability to provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and classroom support
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
• Commitment to creating safe, supportive, and equitable learning environments

Key responsibilities:

• Address students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs through targeted interventions and ongoing support
• Partner with educators and families to create strategies that promote success in the classroom and beyond
• Develop and implement student support plans; provide referrals to community resources when needed
• Lead or assist with small groups, SEL programming, and crisis response
• Participate in IEPs and other meetings as needed to ensure comprehensive support for students
