This onsite contract position offers the opportunity to work with approximately 40 students across two elementary schools and one preschool classroom. Your expertise as a School Social Worker will help create a positive environment that nurtures growth and learning.

What We’re Seeking:

• Valid approval from the Michigan Department of Education as a School Social Worker
• Experience providing social work services in school-based settings, supporting diverse student populations
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities to work effectively with school staff, students, and families
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs), behavioral interventions, and social-emotional learning
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive school culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver social work services to elementary and preschool students, targeting social, emotional, and academic success
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to identify and address student needs
• Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to each student
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
• Promote a safe, respectful environment that helps students thrive

Assignment Details:

• Contract begins August 24, 2026 and concludes May 14, 2027
• Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
• Onsite presence required, supporting students at two elementary campuses and a preschool classroom
