Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid certification in Special Education
- Experience working with students with significant cognitive impairments preferred
- Strong classroom leadership and communication skills
- Ability to adapt instructional approaches for diverse learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Lead and collaborate with an instructional team
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for each student
- Manage a caseload of 12 students, ensuring tailored support and progress
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary team members
