Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a 26-foot box truck to deliver goods efficiently and on time. Your focus will be on providing excellent customer service, ensuring accurate load and unload procedures, and maintaining a professional driving record. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-foot box truck for local route deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed
• Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients during drop-offs and pickups
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
• Follow designated routes efficiently while managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving goods, organizing inventory, and supporting loading/unloading operations when necessary

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or box truck operator with route driving expertise
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously
• Experience with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and inventory management
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely and efficiently
• Familiarity with forklift operation, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certifications preferred)
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices for heavy vehicles with manual transmission
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation and route planning
