Warehouse Lead

Lead the Team That Keeps Production Moving
We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for inventory accuracy, receiving, material movement, cycle counting, and leading a small warehouse team. What You'll Do
- Lead and support the daily activities of the warehouse team.
- Assign work, set priorities, and ensure efficient workflow throughout the warehouse.
- Train, mentor, and develop warehouse associates while promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Coordinate the receiving of incoming materials and verify quantities, part numbers, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory through daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts.
- Process inventory transactions and stock adjustments using the company's ERP/MRP system.
- Allocate received materials into inventory locations to support production.
- Pick, stage, and distribute materials for manufacturing and customer orders.
- Ensure all inventory is properly identified, labeled, and stored.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions.
- Monitor inventory for Excess & Obsolete (E&O) materials and assist with reporting.
- Maintain accurate receiving records, packing slips, certificates of conformity, and other required documentation.
- Promote warehouse safety, organization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience leading or supervising warehouse employees preferred.
- Experience with ERP or MRP inventory systems.
- Forklift operating experience.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, cycle counting, and receiving processes.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing or industrial warehouse experience.
- Experience improving inventory accuracy and warehouse processes.
- Knowledge of quality documentation and inventory audits.
- Experience supporting Lean or continuous improvement initiatives.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
