The Mission
As the Business Development Representative, your mission is simple:
Grow the business.
You'll identify new opportunities, develop strategic relationships, expand existing accounts, and drive sustainable revenue growth throughout your assigned territory.
You are the face of National Fleet Management in your market and a trusted advisor to fleet managers, transportation leaders, operations executives, and business owners.
This position will be responsible for an assigned territory supporting one or more of our North Carolina markets, including Charlotte, Statesville, Greensboro, and Raleigh-Durham. Assigned territories may also include portions of neighboring South Carolina markets within a reasonable driving distance.
What You'll Own
Own business development for your assigned territory.
Develop new fleet customers through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold outreach, and face-to-face meetings.
Build lasting relationships with fleet managers, operations leaders, transportation directors, and business owners.
Conduct fleet evaluations and identify opportunities to improve uptime while reducing maintenance costs.
Present National Fleet Management's maintenance and repair solutions with confidence and professionalism.
Prepare proposals, negotiate service agreements, and close new business.
Grow existing customer relationships through exceptional account management and proactive communication.
Identify expansion opportunities within current customer accounts.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently achieve growth objectives.
Represent National Fleet Management throughout your territory and within the community.
Partner with Operations to ensure every customer receives an exceptional service experience.

Five or more years of business development, outside sales, account management, or territory management experience is preferred.
