We're seeking a friendly and reliable cashier associate to deliver excellent service at the register while supporting overall store operations.This position ensures a positive shopping experience for customers by handling transactions accurately, answering questions, and assisting with product information.
- Operate cash register and process customer transactions accurately.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout and customer service area.
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Restock shelves and assist in merchandising displays as needed.
- Support team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the garden center.
- Promote current sales and seasonal products
QUALIFICATIONS-REQUIREMENTS
- Previous retail, cashiering and garden center experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a customer first attitude
- Good math and money handling skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, and work in all weather types
- Weekend work is and some holidays is mandatory
- Reliable transportation
- A passion for gardening, plants and people are a plus
