Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Furniture Loader/Unloader and become a vital part of our logistics operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading furniture and heavy materials, ensuring safe handling and timely movement of goods within the convention center. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth transition supporting our commitment to excellence in distribution. This position offers a fast-paced, engaging work atmosphere where your skills in heavy equipment operation and materials handling will shine.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload furniture and items using appropriate equipment such as dollies or forklifts.
- Assist with order picking and ensure correct items are loaded or unloaded according to instructions.
- Handle materials with care, adhering to OSHA safety standards and mechanical best practices to prevent accidents or damage.
- Coordinate personnel to prioritize tasks, manage heavy equipment operation, and ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Previous warehouse distribution or logistics experience is highly preferred.
