Responsibilities

• Perform exterior washing and vehicle paint correction to restore a vehicle’s shine and smoothness
• Use automotive buffers and cleaning equipment safely and effectively for polishing, buffing, and detailing tasks
• Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and other surfaces to achieve a spotless finish
• Operate standard passenger cars with confidence, including manual transmission vehicles when necessary
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness throughout the process, ensuring each car is presented in impeccable condition
• Follow safe work practices consistently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to equipment or vehicle parts as needed in an auto detailing facility

Skills

• Proven experience with auto detailing, vehicle exterior washing, and interior cleaning techniques
• Strong knowledge of vehicle paint correction processes and automotive buffing tools
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently in an auto detailing environment
• Familiarity with standard passenger car operation, including manual transmission vehicles
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle needs
• Knowledge of safe work practices and proper use of janitorial or cleaning supplies in an automotive setting
• Physical ability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during busy shifts
