Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Supports parent company in negotiation of required service levels, quality requirements, and cost objectives on raw materials, components and services

·       Develops and maintains measurement tools and criteria to evaluate supplier performance

·       Support methods and procedures to find and evaluate alternate sources of supply

·       Responsible for the procurement and inventory of raw materials and components at an acceptable level to maintain the service level required for JIT manufacturing. Develop and implement supplier pull systems to support this requirement

·       Provide assistance and act as liaison in obtaining supplier provided technical support as requested

·       Manages and conducts “Supplier Evaluations" as required

·       Manages all Federal and State required reporting for the facility

·       Manages IT systems, cyber security, employee accounts and backup system

·       Tasks and documented procedures applicable to responsibilities are included within the job specific skill assessment evaluation

Education and Experience

• B.S. Degree preferred
• A minimum of 3 years in a materials procurement position.
• A minimum of 3 years in Information Technology field preferred

• Excellent written and oral communication skills required
• Able to communicate with individuals at all levels both inside and outside for the organization
• Some experience with training is preferred
• Basic computer skills required to include Word, Excel, Power Point, and others as necessary to job function
